Tuesday May 20

10.30 brekkie

porridge, yog fruit

coffee, half inch square dark plain chocolate.

15.00 lunch

sandwich - two small wholemeal slices, left over pork from last night, chicory leaves, mustard. No butter.

dinner 8.00

three course meal tonight! two mains bought cheap and needed to be eaten straight away, so too much eaten really...

smoked haddock fishcake with rocket and cucumber salad
Alaskan wild salmon fillet with green beans
Fresh orange jelly with raspberries and blueberries

oooffff I feel very full.....

  1. I took a small slice of pizza and a bit of salad with me for lunch, plus a banana and a satsuma. Then it was so cold in court that I had a bowl of carrot & coriander soup from the canteen, too. And the soup was lukewarm >>:-(

You're so good, eating a proper breakfast! I really must try.

  2. breakfast is a good idea, but only if you have time. I suppose it takes 15 minutes to cook and prepare brekkie, and then 10-15 to eat it. So fine if you are working from home, not so good if you are rushing to jury service...

But even a banana or a banana yoghurt smoothie can keep you full until lunch time.

You should have taken the soup back to the counter and asked them to zap it for you...
